ArtSceneToday.com seeks
Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender artists
to submit artwork for LGBT Competition!

Seeking cover art that is representative of the LGBT art community, phati’tude has partnered with ArtSceneToday.com, the online forum for emerging artists. The online gallery has a Call for Entries to their juried competition and online exhibition themed “The Lavender Issue: Defining LGBT Art Today.” The competition seeks works that inspires and motivates LGBT artists and that can tie into phati’tude Literary Magazine’s upcoming summer issue.
The 1st place winner’s work will be featured as the cover art in phati’tude Literary Magazine’s LGBT’s issue. A press release announcing the 1st place winner will be distributed internationally, adding further exposure and recognition for the winner.
Finalists will be featured in a month-long online exhibit (from May 3-May 31, 2010), inclusion in ArtSceneToday’s Exhibition Catalogue, ArtSceneToday.com’s FACEBOOK and TWITTER networks, ArtSceneToday’s Newsletter, as well as on phati’tude’s website, with some finalists’ works selected for inclusion in the print edition of phati’tude Literary Magazine.
Call for entries are open to national and international LGBT artists and requires a $35 fee for up to 3 images. Additional images are $5 each. The deadline is Wednesday, April 28, 2010.
