The IAAS Announces Danbee Kim as Legal Intern for Summer 2012
The Intercultural Alliance of Artists & Scholars, Inc. (IAAS), phati’tude’s nonprofit organization, is pleased to announce that Danbee Kim has been selected as its Legal intern for Summer 2012.
Danbee will be responsible for reviewing and drafting new phati’tude Literary Magazine consent forms, as well as create contracts for the IAAS’s new imprint, 2Leaf Press. She will be working closely with the IAAS’s legal counsel, Andrew L. Deutsch, Esq. of DLA Piper in New York.
Danbee graduated the University of Chicago in Spring 2011 with a degree in Psychology. During her undergraduate years, Danbee worked as PR Manager of a student-run newspaper, choreographed dances for culture shows, and founded an Asian-interest sorority. Her interests include drawing/designing album covers for nonexistent bands, bicycling around the city, dabbling in poetry, and drinking good coffee. Danbee worked in media-marketing at Starcom MediaVest Group for one quarter during her third year and spent the remainder of the year researching and writing for the psychology department at the university. She will attend Columbia Law School in the fall (2012).
